Media Inquiries
The Communication Department of Clinic Saint-Jean is available to assist the media with all types of requests (interviews, reports, filming, etc.) and strives to help journalists as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Any request relating to Clinic Saint-Jean will be forwarded to the appropriate expert. Staff members reserve the right not to respond to certain requests.
Journalists must contact the Communication Department in advance and obtain the necessary authorization before entering the Clinic’s premises.
Communication Regarding Patients
When submitting requests, media representatives are asked to respect the necessary boundaries arising from the protection of patients’ privacy.
- Under all circumstances, the Clinic places the utmost importance on protecting patient privacy. Therefore, neither the Communication Department nor healthcare professionals provide information regarding the health status of any specific individual.
- The Communication Department neither confirms nor denies the presence of a patient within the institution.
- A hospital stay may be a particularly vulnerable period for patients and their loved ones. Clinic Saint-Jean’s priority is to provide high-quality care while respecting patients’ need for rest and privacy. Any wish expressed by patients or their relatives not to interact with the media must be respected.
- The presence of a patient during hospitalization does not, under any circumstances, constitute consent to the use of their image. Any publication or broadcast requires the patient's prior and explicit consent.
Filming Requests
Unfortunately, the Communication Department is unable to accommodate unpaid filming requests within the Clinic, such as those related to theses or graduation projects.
Requests for professional audiovisual productions or film shoots are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be considered depending on the context and operational feasibility.
